Visiting SIRO DUBAI: A luxury wellness destination

Date: Apr 16, 2025

Last October, we were invited to experience SIRO One Za’abeel in Dubai—a pioneering concept that seamlessly blends luxury hospitality with science-backed wellness.

SIRO marks a pivotal shift in the hospitality landscape, catering perfectly to the evolving demands of health-conscious travellers.

Travel Well

With the global wellness tourism market set to exceed $1.3 trillion by 2025, there’s a clear surge in demand for experiences that prioritise and enhance health and well-being during travel.

SIRO One Za’abeel offers a holistic environment, the ethos is built upon five core pillars: fitness, nutrition, sleep, recovery, and mindfulness. The hotel gym is arguably one of the best in the world, it features a state-of-the-art Fitness Lab spanning over 9,500 square feet, equipped with Technogym equipment and dedicated spaces for various training modalities from reformer pilates to functional fitness and spinning. Complementing this is the Recovery Lab, offering cryotherapy, IV infusions, and my personal favourite, vibroacoustic therapy, designed to promote physical and mental rejuvenation.

Each of SIRO’s 132 rooms is meticulously designed to support rest and recovery. They’ve thought of everything, from thermo-regulating mattresses to blackout blinds synchronised with your body’s circadian rhythm. Plus, in-room gym equipment means you can enjoy a private workout while taking in skyline views from the 40th floor. It’s truly exceptional!

Located for Work and Leisure

Situated just minutes from key business districts and cultural landmarks, SIRO One Za’abeel offers convenience for both business and leisure travellers.  Its proximity to Dubai International Airport and major attractions makes it the perfect choice for anyone looking to prioritise wellness without sacrificing accessibility. This is a crucial consideration given Dubai’s increasing traffic.

Wellness Brands Take Note

The rise of innovative brands like SIRO highlights a broader trend in hospitality: an integration of fitness and wellness within traditional hotel settings. For wellness brands, this represents an opportunity to collaborate with established hospitality brands, develop bespoke products, curate unique experiences, and align with a modern clientele that values health and well-being as integral to their travel experiences.

The McKinsey Luxury Traveller Report 2024 states ‘88% of luxury travellers say fitness is important on leisure trips.

During our stay I sat down with SIRO’s Director of Fitness, Jamie Moore to discuss the launch as well as future plans for SIRO. Listen to the interview here – Modern Wellness Podcast: Inside SIRO Dubai.
